Rosi S.M.’s MAMMA HEMMERS … KREUZBERG ADIÖ (West Germany 1981) shows anarchistic slogans and graffiti in Kreuzberg and STADTMUSEUM (Boris Dewjatkin, Germany 2024) is a tribute to Berlin, chaos, signs and the city as a palimpsest. In THE ART OF AUTHENTICITY (Carlo Oppermann, Germany 2022), a satirical publicity film for the Berlin Office of Urban Authenticity, a civil servant with a serious sense of self-importance gives the city of Berlin its grimy charm.
